Luggage Valet Program on the Summit Southbound???

We'll be on the 8/5 Summit and are wondering about the Luggage Valet program. Has anyone used it? I'm not referring to US Direct, since we're not leaving Vancouver until 7:30pm. My understanding is that with the Luggage Valet program you can do your check in on the ship the last night of the cruise; and your luggage will be sent directly to the airport. My understanding is that you can tour Vancouver during the day; go to the airport to board the plane and not have to mess at all with your luggage.

 

If anyone has used this program, any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Since I haven't had any response on this question, maybe I better re-phrase the question: Has anyone who has been on another Southbound cruise used the program? If not, does anyone remember hearing about it as an option?

States on their website that travel has to occur the same day you come into port, so there must be some provision for those not going directly to the airport. Customer service number on the site is listed as: 1-888-Portvan.
