radiance questions

hi, we are going on the R.O.S. on 4/3/05 out of miami,fl anybody have any tips about miami accomidations ,or general info about the radiance they could share would be great.this will be our fourth cruise with rccl ,twice on the grandeur once on the enchantment love both ships but ready for a change.although not ready to change cruise lines yet. thanks

The Marriott has a pre-cruise package that we like. Bay view room, welcome cocktail, free breakfast and transportation to the pier.

 

Radiance is a beautiful ship, you'll love it. If Kent Ringborn is captain when you're on, don't miss any opportunity to see him. Very entertaining.

The Radiance is a great ship. We seem to like this class. Had a trip on her in May from San Diego to Vancouver. We like aft so were there and unlike others don't think it is too far to walk to the elevators. Any questions you can email me directly. Think my email is in my profile. If not, write them here I will check back. If you like bars, hope Ray and Patricia are still at the Schooner Bar. Great people! We had a temporary captain since Captain Kent was "on vacation"....wonder if he took a cruise?

 

The captain we had looked like he was 12! Someone asked him and he wouldn't answer! We figured about 32-35. He had captained before so we were cool. We figure a "newer" captain is more cautious than an "older" one!
