mickym Posted July 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Has anyone on here heard about/used Sitka Shon's Tours? We plan on walking the town on our own but one of the people in our group thought she would like a tour and found this site and was wondering if there were any of you that had any first hand knowledge about them?? Thanks in advance.

I am using one of them on my stop in Sitka. We are boarding the southbound Carnival Spirit on Aug. 16.
agabbymama Posted July 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Sitka is easily walked and they have a nice hop on/hop off bus for $10 that will take you to the farther spots like the Raptor Center. Then there is a nice trail through the forest that includes Russian memorial, walk down to the National Museum where there are totems and canoes being carved. Then you can hop back on the next bus and continue around town. Sitka was my favorite stop on our cruise. I selected Southbound HAL cruise because it went to Sitka. Lots of Russian History here. Enjoy:p
