Diesel Dog Posted July 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Sailing on the 8 day Spirit cruise next month. I have some questions that I hope can be answered; 1) Early registration. I read in another thread that you can register early, even without being a Latitudes member, if you arrive early. Is that correct? 2) What nights in Windows are Lobster night, etc.? Hope someone can help. Thank you
1sttimecruiserlady Posted July 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Hi I just returned from the NCL Spirit cruise July 16-22 sailing. I don't know much abour pre registring but I can tell you that on our cruise to Port Caneveral, Nassau, and Great Stirrup Cay Lobster night was on the 2nd night of our cruise which is also Captains night and formal night. It was good. We ate in The Garden room that night and I had the lobster and enjoyed it. Happy Cruising. If you have any other questions I will gladly try and answer them. 1sttimecrusierlady
Diesel Dog Posted July 25, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted July 25, 2006 1sttimecruiserlady: Thanks for the response. I wonder if the cruise you took and the 8 night eastern caribbean will be the same, meaning lobster night on the 2nd night. Anyone know the answer??? RoosterSharkey Posted July 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2006 I was on the 8-night 7/8-7/16/06. Left on Saturday and had lobster in Windows on Sunday night.
KeystoneCruiser Posted July 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2006 On most NCL cruises, Lobster night is the usually the first OPTIONAL formal night, which is usually the second day of the cruise. Be warned, it is Lobster tails and not whole Lobster. Also, remember, all formal nights are OPTIONAL in all dining rooms.

Captains Night is a night that they serve lobster in the main dining rooms. No reservations are necessary and the captain and other officers eat dinner with the passengers. People ae selected from the passengers to join either the Captain or another officer at their tables.....or you can still just choose to eat when and where you please and still have the lobster at any main restaurant
