Has anyone rented a satellite phone?

Has anyone rented a satellite phone before cruising? I know I saw someone post a web site for weekly satellite phones, but now I need one, I can't find the posting.

Just do a Google search. I just did that and came up with tons of companies that rent satellite phones. Just be careful of their calling plans. Those at sea satellite calls can be very expensive

Thanks for the information! I know someone posted a link to a satallite phone company that they used while on a cruise. I think they were happy with the price. I forgot to bookmark and now I've lost it.

Anyway, I think the ship to shore phones in your cabin run about $8.00-12.00 a minute. With these phone you pay around 30.00 for the week and then $1.20plus per minute.

 

I'll keep doing a thread search and maybe I'll come up with it again.
