jeanbean Posted July 5, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2004 My husband and I are traveling with our 2 year old. I have never sailed with Carnival before. Any chance that their cabins have VCRs in the event my daughter has Sesame Street withdrawal?
gagirl Posted July 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 5, 2004 I was on the Glory in May and they did not have VCR's in the cabin. But your 2 year old won't miss Big Bird, there will be so much for her to do with Camp Carnival while on board.
MrPete Posted July 5, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2004 Yes, if you book a category 11 or 12.
DKobler Posted July 6, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 6, 2004 Just curious, why do you need a VCR in your room anyway? Can you rent or borrow movies from the ships library?
cruztime Posted July 6, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 6, 2004 Hi, You can get pay per view movies right from your TV menu. They have a large variety to chose from. Also, if you have a portable DVD player, you can plug right into the jacks on the TV and play any movie you bring. We use that method for viewing our digital pics as well. christhree Posted July 6, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 6, 2004 IF you NEED a VCR to "entertain" your child....why bring her?
Cruising89143 Posted July 7, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 7, 2004 As Pete stated in a post above, they do have VCR's in the suites. There are some pay per view movies but not many would be suitable for a young child. I can see where you would want a VCR for some down time during the day. Enjoy your cruise.
