Playing Golf in Bermuda

Has anyone played golf while on a cruise to Bermuda? Is is better to do this through the ship or to schedule on your own? Do they rent clubs? I have almost convinced my husband to go on the Explorer in Aug. 2007, but if he can play golf, it will cinch it. Thanks for the help.

We play golf every time we go. I have done the golf shore excursions and booked on my own. If you visit www.bermuda.com it will give you lots of info on the golf available. Clubs can be rented at any of the courses. Your hubby will want to go back, once he plays there, although it is a little pricey:)
