Another MBNA Royal Rewards Question

Our cruise is coming up at the end of August. I just made some big purchases on my card that exceed $5,000 but my next statement cut-off is August 26th. Will I be able to redeem points when the charges hit my account or can you only redeem them after they appear on your statement?

Hmmm, well, you can go on line and see when they are posted to your account. I guess what you are saying is that they won't be posted until the statement drops... I think you are right.

Even if they posted earlier, it would take a few days to get the coupons from Royal Rewards, even with overnighting, and then to the ship before you board. Sorry, it looks like it might not happen:(

Thanks for your quick responses. I guess I will have to book on-board on this trip and use my points for next year's cruise. Oh well, how terrible is that.
