OSJ PR 3P-12Mid Late 30's Couple / No Kids -- What kind of nightlife?

Hi,

We're a late 30's couple (no kids) who will be docked in OSJ, PR from about 3pm to Midnight.

We've been to OSJ and have already done BOTH forts (a must see if havent' done so yet), and have eaten in various restaurants -- even the little local kitchenette type (excellent local PRican food).

This time, we'll eat dinner on the ship.

But, we want to spend a night on the town -- club, dancing, drinking. What are some options.

Thanks.

Club Lazer is a disco in OSJ off the main streets- just ask the crew where it is exactly. It doesn't get hopping until around 11pm though.

Also, you might want to grab a cab to Isla Verde and check out the Water Club Boutique Hotel. I think they might have changed their name recently, but all the who's who go to this trendy spot while in town. Excellent restaurant called Tangerine (Asian/Latin Fusion)... Then hop on the very cool water elevators to the roof for some outstanding views, dancing, drinks, take a dip in the pool surrounded by beds, or have some Sushi.

It all depends the day of the week you at in SJ. You might want to bar hop in OSJ. Water Club Hotel is a great option as well as take a cab to El San Juan Hotel and go to Brava Club, which is the best club (I think it opens from Thursday-Saturday).

While in SJ 2 nights precruise last November we went to 2 clubs after dinner on Friday night.....

Nuyorican Cafe/Club - supposed to have salsa but when we got there it was all Jazz that night (cover charge of 8.00pp I think)...... lots of people and very upbeat - we just were looking for salsa.... so we walked over to

The Rhumba Club and had a blast. They had a 7 piece salsa band playing and as this is where the locals go to salsa we had quite a show just watching them dance..... no cover charge but the drinks were a little high BUT STRONG !!! We had taken salsa lessons for a few months before we left but they really know how it's done..... small and not fancy but lots of fun.... a little loud too. As San Juan is very European in nature most things are done later at night..... the clubs really don't get going until around 10pm at the earlierst. However the Rhumba Club is located in old San Juan near the piers so easy to get back to ship.... Ask any taxi driver - he'll know where it is.
