What Is It And How Do You Get Invited?

It's not really a "Ball" but maybe a cocktail party.... It's scheduled on one of the formal nights- the one that serves the Captain's Gala Dinner menu. Really, it's about 1-1/2 hours of free cocktails and appetizers with music playing just before or just after your dinner depending on your dinner time.

 

You can meet the Captain and other officers if you choose. Everyone is invited...

Every passenger is invited to the Captain's Welcome Cocktail Party - no ball. Nice hors d'oeuvres and cocktails passed around on trays - no charge, of course. It's a nice party, scheduled before your Formal Night dinner (usually the second night on board the ship).:)
