Empress of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We are looking for comments from recent guests on the EOS. We have read mixed reviews andare booked on the 3-28-05 sailing. Recently we were on the Mariner of the Sea which was fabulous.

How is the food on the EOS?
We have heard about noise from the engines, can some one advise us where NOT to have a room?

Thanks!

We were on the Nordic Empress/Empress of the Seas in March just before its renovation. The ship is not the newest grandest lady around, but a fine ship. The crew and staff are outstanding and aim to please, the food was fine.

We were in the middle on deck 4, and had no problems with vibrations. There are times when you are in the dining room which is on decks 4 and 5 aft, that you can feel some vibration, sometimes it can be startling if the ship is changing speed. Best bet would be to get a stateroom midships.

Don't think twice about booking. She is a great ship, and the size was nice as you would see people you have met throughout the day, and it is very easy to navigate from place to place.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Well, it's definitely NOT like the Mariner. Which we have been on and LOVE.
