what are some of the newer carnival ships? how is destiny now that it has been renovated(drydocked)?

Some newer ships include the Conquest Class, and the Spirit, and Destiny class ships (The desiny class ships may be controversial in terms of new)

Anyway, the Destiny is fairly good IMO, however there were some recent problems a week or two ago, from what I read on these boards.

We have sailed on Destiny three times, the latest being in Jan 2006. I believe that was about 4 months(?) out of drydock. The bedding has been replaced with the new duvet style and the carpets looked new. One down side was that the video poker machines had been replaced and I think they have been set to lower payout. Other than that, Destiny has maintained it's class over the years considering there are 2000+ people wearing it down every week. We feel the port schedule (6 of 7 days in port) is the best for what we want to do. We have not had any problems in any of the three times we have been aboard....Good luck
