mrcruzer Posted July 31, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2006 Hello all, We are looking at booking the Jewel of the seas 8 night Eastern Caribbean departing March 10, 2007. A concern of ours is that we wish to have as much beach time as possible. Does anyone have any reccomendations or tips about beaches in the following ports that we are visiting? We would likely spend every day at port at the beach. Not beach tours(shore excursions) that the cruise line organizes. We'd like it to be independent. Day 1: Ft. Lauderdale (departing at 5:00pm) Day 2: At Sea Day 3: San Juan (2:00pm-8:00pm) Day 4: Phillipsburg, St. maarten (9:00am-6:00pm) Day 5: St. John's Antigua (8:00am-5:00pm) Day 6: Charlotte Amalie St. Thomas (8:00am-5:00pm) Day 7: At Sea Day 8: Nassau (12:00am-6:00pm) Day 9: Ft. Lauderdale (arrive at 7:00am) Any help is MOST appreciated, as we may not be able to book it if the beach time does not cooperate. Beaches are big for our group. And if i can't assure them some beaches, then it could not work.
