Book Cave Tubing at Port???

Hello.. i was just wondering if it is possible to book cave tubing at the pier with a private company.. we arent really sure what we want to do in belize yet so we dont want to book it right now.. we also dont want to pay carnival's prices.. any help would be appreciated.. thanks

We were just inBelize last week, when we got off the tender there were tour companies holding up signs to take you tubing or whatever else you want to you, we walked up to a tour operator and he took us to their booth, the cost was $55 pp (much less than the cruiseline) and we only has a group of 13 pp, unlike the ships tour that had over 60pp. our guide gave up a tour on the way to tubing, it was lots of fun.

I booked with Cave-Tubing.com in Belize based on a number of favorable reviews on these boards and some of my own research.

 

They are picking us up right at the pier.

It shouldn't be a problem. But make sure you have a list of companies you have heard good things about. They should have their signs up with the names of others from your ship. Just ask them if they have room for a couple more.

When you find the company you want to use at the pier, ask how many will be in the group, if it is a group of 40, you probably don't want to take it, it's just to many people to relax and have some fun. We passed the Carnival group on the way and it was a mad house of people, i really felt sorry for them for paying so much for their tour.
