White pants with a black shirt

I want to wear these off white dressy pants with a cuff on the bottom... and this beautiful black v neck blouse and it has rhinestones going down on the sides of the v neck...and of course strappy heels...

 

 

What do u think?? would this work for formal nite??? is it all about the accessories??

Which cruise line?

 

While I would not personally consider the outfit you describe "formal", I do think you could get away with it depending on the line. On a three inght RCI or Carnival sailing, it would work as it would for NCL's optional formal night.

 

That sounds similar to what I would wear on an informal night on X or CCC on Regent or smart casual on RCI.
