pugsammy Posted August 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2006 Thinking of doing Hawaii next time around. What is the best time of year to visit Hawaii? I've heard that March is usually rainy. Any other time we should avoid?
Cruise Gopher Posted August 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2006 Thinking of doing Hawaii next time around. What is the best time of year to visit Hawaii? I've heard that March is usually rainy. Any other time we should avoid? RCI only cruises to Hawaii in May and in the fall (Sept./Oct.) when they reposition the Radiance Class of ships. So those are your only choices. Either of them are good choices, the weather will be nice in Hawaii.
Arizona Cruz Chic Posted August 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2006 Not sure about the best time, but if Hawaii and cruise are in the same sentence then its a good time!!! :D :D :D ***
YogiDog Posted August 2, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2006 We couldn't do the RCCL timeframe so we went last August on NCL Pride of America. Weather was great and had a blast - only thing you miss going in the summer as opposed to winter is the waves on the beaches are really calm so you don't see the huge ones or see any exciting surfing. You also don't see the whales in the summer. But there is so much to do and see on each of the islands so you will have a wonderful time no matter when you go. betslil Posted August 2, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 2, 2006 Did 10nite Hawaii through NCL last November. Good weather and most places were not crowded.. drizzled 1 day at sea. Fanning Island was fantastic... planning to go again soon just for Fanning island. Late october early November has great prices.... you can find great deals out there : cruise with airfare & transfers included for under $1,000pp Just my 2 cents in.... dougp26364 Posted August 2, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2006 If you plan on sailing Hawaii with RCI, my advice is to book early. We booked our Sept. 28th Radiance cruise last May when it came out. The price of our D1 cabin has already gone up $1,400. Most cabins are $1,000+ in price from when our M&M group started the thread. The Serenade Oct. 2007 cruise is already showing sold out although there are still cabins being held by TA's at reasonable prices. At least according to one of our M&M group that jumped ship a couple of weeks ago.
