? for those travelling in March 05...

Recommended Posts

We havent booked yet as prices are very high. Im hoping that I can get something under 300 from Seattle to Miami or Fort Lauderdale for our 3-19-05 NOS cruise. With fuel so high I wonder how low they will get maybe I will not see them drop below 300. In March 03 I found airfare to Orlando at 225, probably never see that again.

We have not booked yet either. Keep looking on Orbita, but right now prices are pretty high with the major carriers, and the discounts (Southwest, Jet Blue etc) don't come out with prices till about 4 or 5 months in advance. It looks a little expensive. We are hoping for it to come donw, but I really don't think it will.

We booked ours, to San Diego. It happens to be Easter weekend and everything was selling out so we went ahead and booked. $1150 total for two and that's from Savannah to San Diego and from Ft. Lauderdale back to Savannah.

We are also cruising the week of the 20th, which puts us returning on the 27th, Easter. I have been watching fares for weeks now and they have started to come down. I am trying to get on American to Ft. Lauderdale since our family (4) has a voucher for $900. Current round trip price is $347 plus taxes. I'm hoping to get tickets for $250-$300 per person but it's hard to be patient. I think a lot of schools are on Spring Break that week and flights are filling up just as fast as they are released.

I agree, I would book your flights soon, or you run the risk of the supply and demand situation, where a lot of people are on spring break (Running from the first week of march to mid april). I havent seen airfare too high yet, (about 300pp rt from MPLS to Houston), but last year as it got closer it went higher.

My airfare is booked through the cruise line, and i call every few weeks on each cruise to see if any discounts have came out.
