Aft balcony on Pride

We have the opportunity to book an aft cabin on the Main Deck (4), one of the middle ones not connecting to the suites. Would anyone recommend this location over a mid section balcony on Deck 8? I've read somewhere that the aft balconies on Deck 4 are completely covered unlike the aft balconies above. What about noise or excessive vibrations?

Thanks for any information. We need to make a decision soon since I'm afraid all of the rooms are going fast!!

Deck 4 would be my choice, if there is one available grab it. The side balconies are covered as well, just the aft on deck 5 and up are not. Well they have about a foot and a half overhang. We had an aft suite on deck 4 and were very glad for the overhang. Had a rainy day in Belize and could still sit out side. There was a little vibration stopping and starting but mostly it was quiet. I am a light sleeper and had no problems. You will love the view, and the sound of the wake is kind of like a waterfall. Very relaxing.Have fun.
