Oia...Restaurant Recommendation?

We're going on the Millennium's Venice-Barcelona cruise on Sunday, and we're thinking of going to Oia when we're on Santorini. Does anyone know of a good restaurant there where we could have lunch?

We went down to Ammoudi from Oia and had lunch at the Sunset Taverna, it was great! We had an ATV so it made getting there easier, there is also a path to walk down, but it didn't look very fun.

where were you able to find the ATV's ? that sounds like fun. my husband will be there early november. thanks for the info

We went to Tony's, you can find a lot of references to them on these boards. I think it was 20 or 25 euros for the day, no reservations, just a spontaneous thing. We had a great time! Just be mindful and pull to the side when faster cars want whiz by you. Oh, if both of you are riding together, make sure to get the higher horsepower motor, some of those hills can be a little tough. We'd do it again.

We also had dinner in Ammoudi Bay (below Oia). We rented a car in Fira (http://www.santorini.com/rentals/tonys/) - spent the day exploring the island and then went to Oia and Ammoudi Bay in the late afternoon. A wonderful day!

thanks nparmelee - i think we will do this and we will each rent one...sounds like fun. i will watch out for fast cars...appreciate the restaurant recommendation also.
