pollux Posted July 6, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2004 Take the Taxi to the Train Station. Every 15 min. the train goes in to Schiphol Airport. As you detrain the lugguage carts are right there for free. The train station is about 1 mile from the cruise terminal. The train ride cost about 4 euros which is about 5 dollar per person. If you only have 1 roller bag you can walk to the Centraal Station. Buy you ticket in the station hal or at the kiosk. You can use your ATM in the machine. English is spoken all over Holland. Taken a taxi to Schiphol is very expensive since it is far away. I don't know the price.
Hondu Posted July 6, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2004 When you exit the Amsterdam Cruise Terminal, taxis are readlily available at the curb. It should cost 50 Euro. We were in Amsterdam recently and stayed at the Crown Plaza American(City Centre). We took the Interlink bus just outside the hotel to the airport. It cost only 6 Euro per person and we were deliver right infront of the airport in twenty minutes. We had two suitcase, to garment bags and two carry ons.
