KS17 Posted August 5, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2006 Going on Freedom of the Seas next year Eastern Caribbean (San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Marten). Have 2 boys ages 12 and 10 that love watersports. Can anyone recommend excursions? Do most of the beaches have watersports available? They love jet skis, tubing, banana boats, parasailing, anything like that? Also, any good snorkeling tours that are fun for the kids? We did a pirate ship snorkel cruise in Aruba that the kids loved! We'd like to find something similar.:p

1stAnnivCruise Posted August 6, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Orient Beach in St. Martin (French Side) has all the watersports you can ask for. You can book thru the cruiseline and get there or take a cab. Been to St. Martin twice and went to that beach for a few hours each time. We're going on Freedom in two weeks...western itinerary... Puerto Rico....typically the hotels have day passes you can go to and do stuff there. We stayed at the Intercontinental for our post AOS cruise for our honeymoon...Awesome hotel with an amazing pool area....Not sure how far any vendors for waverunners/parasailing is...I'm sure you can check it out by searching San Juan & watersports... Good luck! Definitely go to Orient Beach....

mjea35 Posted August 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Does Orient Beach have restaurants, bathrooms and chair and umbrella rental? Also, are there any sections of the beach that are not nude? I am travelling with children. Thanks, Jamie
