Things to Do in Miami?

My flight home after my cruise does not leave until 8pm. I looked at RCI's excursions, and the Island Queen cruise sounds interesting.....does anyone have any other suggestions? Should I book this excursion through RCI or directly? I haven't been able to find much info for some reason.

We rented a car & went to the Miami Zoo. The trunk was a safe convenient place to keep the luggage all day.

I do not know when you are leaving. I asked a similar question. You can either take a taxi to Bayside Market Place it is an outdoor mall. It is about a six dollar ride to the mall. You can schedule a tour from there it is sixteen dollars for adults. I do not know if you have any kids. I think kids under three(or four) are free.

Bayside is probably your best bet for the day... its a really nice outdoor mall and you have several tour operators to choose from for a relaxing bout cruise.

I'll second Trish -- If you have enough time, go to the zoo. On the other hand, if you don't have enough time, go to Bayside Marketplace.

What do you do with you luggage unless you rent a car after the cruise

You can ask at your pre-cruise hotel if it would be ok to check your luggage there upon your return.
