sowhynot Posted August 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2006 We used the advice from CC to prepay our parking at the Bell Street Pier. Following the instructions on the form we gave the attendant our ticket and the receipt showing that we had purchased the parking. What wasn't said on any of the instructions is that we should have handed over all the little envelopes that had been placed on the windshield. Received a startling invoice for the first day of parking (figured we'd be getting one every day for the next week) saying that we owed $14.00 for the original notice plus a $25.00 late fee! I was not pleased, to say the least. It took two phone calls to straighten it out (and hopefully it has been). This is even though when you prepay you give your name and the license number of the car. On the good side, it was a very convenient place to park. Here's the info about prepaying for parking: http://www.rpnw.com/seattle/park/cruise/ It is $12.00/day versus the normal $14.00 day So, moral of the story, give them the little envelopes! I suggested that they should also put this little tidbit on the receipt instructions. Don't know if they will.
