Port Canaveral to Nasa????

Does anyone know how to get from the port to Nasa? I'd like to go independently instead of with the ship ($$$).. Thanks much.

From the cruise terminals get on 528 (the Beach Line) west toward Orlando. I think you can take State Road 3 North to the Visitor Center. If not stay on 528 to US 1. Take US 1 North. Take US 1 North to 405. 405 East goes directly to the Space Center. Depending on traffic, it may be 10-15 minutes from the port. Check out the link below for further information. IMHO the space center is well worth the time...
