Laundry on Dream

Hi, we are on the 15th August Baltic cruise on the Dream. We have kids and dont really want to take lots of clothes for them. We would rather use the laundry on the ship. Would appreciate anyones experiences of using the ship laundry service. I have heard about the bag for $20 but wondered how long into the cruise this is offered. Many Thanks Tiff.

Hi, One other thought about the $20 laundry bag, is it offered to everyone on the same day? Could the ship cope? Is it then offered at different times to different parts of the ship? Sorry about the detail but with kids who make clothes dirty we are trying to determine what to take. Has anyone tried asking if they can do a $20 laundry deal rather than wait for the offer? Ta Tiff

I've been on NCL ships where the $20 bag is usually offered (per cruise critic members) but not offered on my particular sailing...so I don't think you should count on it. OTOH, you could always just plan to launder what you need at the regular ship prices, if necessary.

We're just back from the 22nd Baltic Capitals cruise on the Dream. The $20 laundry bag was offered on our sailing - I think about the Friday which would be Day 7. We didn't ask for anything to be laundered this time which is why I'm not 100% certain of the day it was offered but we did use the service last year on the Dream in Alaska. When we used the service everything was returned to us without a problem except we received an additional T-shirt which we passed back to our room steward - hopefully it made its way to the correct cabin!
