danim Posted August 9, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2006 Hello Everyone, I have read on other posts where people use a service (in Florida) that will actually deliver goods to the ship to be put in your cabin. In the past we have arrived the day before and stopped at a store to purchase Pepsi to bring on board. (No Problem) Well now we are thinking of cruising Explorer of the Seas out of NJ, and in this case, we would fly in early that same morning and take the RCCL transfer. (So we will not be able to stop and get our supply of Pepsi). Does anyone know of a service that will deliver goods to your cabin (in NJ)? Sorry it is so long, I was just trying to explain it all. Thank you in advance, Danielle
imacrusing Posted August 9, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2006 I was STUPID and did that ONCE> they delivered 2 12 packs to suite..but the delivery charge was $20..so you figure the cost of each pepsi. Now I arrive get to bar and buy 10 cans of pepsi at 1.75 each...still cheaper that what I paid for the delivery...
kitty9 Posted August 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2006 You will pay more from a delivery service than if you just bought the sodas on board the ship. There's a service fee, a delivery fee and now they have a fuel surcharge fee. Don't bother with this.
danim Posted August 11, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted August 11, 2006 Thank you both. I will probably refrain from the soda all together. I would of not had a problem buying them on board but RCCL is a COKE boat and not Pepsi. I agree with you two, the cost to have it delivered is probably outrageous. Thanks Again, Danielle
