We havent had to tender in awhile, it always seems like it took for ever to get off the ship. We wont have a excursion so we have to wait till those who do? Right? We get to Cayman at 7am and rented a car for 8:30am do you think that will work out? I'm concerned about what time get on the island. Can someone tell me that has been to cayman not too long ago how and the details of the tendering. Thanks

It really varies, I have been following the reviews for my upcoming cruise and from what I have seen, you would probably make it, but if it is a MUST make time, you might move it back 30min.

We had to meet a private excursion at 8:30. It was no problem. We got a tender in plenty of time to look around and shop a little bit before walking to the parking lot where we met the van. YMMV

When we went in May the GC tender was extremely organized, but I had an 8:00 ship sponsored excursion. I am not sure how it was for the individuals that had private or no excursions planned. Cozumel was very unorganized, I hope that one goes better for you!
