The lines move fairly quickly...getting there at 11:00 am is perfect time although your cabin won't be ready so you may want to get to the pier vy at least 12:30 so that when all is said in done you can ge your cabin....or you can always go to the red sail restaurant and have some lunch....

We actually got there around 9:30 but had to sit around and wait for almost 2 hours. We were on the ship eating lunch by 12. We went to our cabin around 1 and dropped off our bag and changed into swimsuit. I like to be on as early as possible to start my vacation. She is a beautiful ship and you will have a wonderful cruise.

when you drop off your luggage where the porters are there will be carnival representives there with wheelchairs to assist you. if you grandmother cannot stand for a long time or walk a long distance you should use the wheelcahir. they will take you inside and check you in then take you to the cabin if it is ready. check in usually beging between 1030 and 11--

the lines at check in are heaviest between 1230 and 230. judge your arrival accordingly
