Weather in January

We have booked a cruise on the Jewel for the 7th January 07 and was wondering what the weather is like around that time of year in the Eastern part of the Carribean, as you probaly guess we are from the UK and as you would imagine we virtually get the same weather as New York but for a week later.:cool:

I have been in the Carribean in Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb. The weather always seemed to be in the 80s and sunny. Of course, that being said, weather is totally impossible to predict. :cool:

Note: It's much the same year round. The temperatures are in the low digits during the winter, in the high digits in the summer, with 10 degrees variance between high and low.

Hi, we're on the Jewel 3 weeks after you, Jan 28th/07 and we are also hoping for good weather!!! It'll be raining and yucky here, so we will be looking forward to some warmth and a tan!

The Caribbean in January/February/March is fantastic. It's the dry season so you typically won't get rain (although even in the rainy season it's not all that bad either - unless of course it's due to a tropical mess). The temperature will be somewhere around 80-85 degrees. We've cruised at all times of the year and that's one of our favorites for the Caribbean.
