halos Posted July 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 7, 2004 .....when the obsession becomes so bad that you start to worry about yourself. .....when people speak to you and all you hear is 'blah blah blah blah' and you interrupt them to say something about cruising. .....when the food at your house sucks, the view out the windows upsets you because it is land, and you cry when you walk into your bedroom at night because there is no towel animal. .....when you are hungry every 20 to 30 minutes and are looking for something to eat and a foo-foo to go along with it. Dannzzigg Posted July 7, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 7, 2004 ...when you haven't even been on your first cruise and you can think of nothing else ...when your wife has stopped calling you by name and only refers to you as "The Cruise Nazi" (maybe I plan a bit much?) ...when you spend several hours one night looking for a countdown clock that runs on your desktop so you can always know how much longer you have to wait ...when you've memorized the deck arrangements of the ship you will be sailing, just so you won't have to look lost ...when the other people in your group call you just to ask how many days until the cruise ...when you are packed and ready to go 53 days before-hand ...when you've started practicing what little high-school Spanish you remember, on the off chance that it may be needed at one of the Ports of Call ...when everyone you work with knows every port you will be visiting and just what you will be doing there, because it's all you talk about and finally... when you get rid of your king-size bed, opting for two twins that can be pushed together every night, just to make the bedroom more like a cabin (okay, this I haven't done yet, but it's an idea :) )
