Would love some advice!

Hey everyone.

 

Can you tell I am starting to get nervous about our cruise? 3 weeks to go!

 

Okay here is my scenario.

 

We are getting married in Vila at 2pm so we decided not to risk getting off the ship in the morning to tour/shop etc as I wanted us to have a nice brekkie together and spend the morning getting ready at a leisurely pace.

 

However I really dont want to miss out on the shopping more than anything.

 

How long would it take to get off the ship and into the main town/shopping area and back? Would I have time for a quick shop in the morning and still be able to get back with lots of time to prepare for the wedding?

 

I know it must sound like a silly question but I really dont know what to expect. :o

Hi Tina

It is only a short (5mins?) bus ride into town (and you won't have to wait for a bus either). It's not a big place. We walked up & down the street a few times and went back to the ship for lunch. I'm sure you'll have time to do some shopping. Get off as early as you can and just make sure you set yourself a time limit so you still have plenty of time to get ready. Where exactly are you getting married?

My wedding planner has told us we are getting married at Mystic something...I didnt really catch it. I trust her judgement though, she says it is a beautiful place overlooking the sea.

 

I have googled it but nothing comes up. :confused:

I reckon that an hour would be plenty if you are just ducking down there to get your duty free etc.
