penwah2002 Posted August 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2006 Could someone shed some light for me? We have reserved room VD4054 for the Feb 28, 2007 sailing. I believe this is port side, maybe someone could clarify that for me? I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone has had that room or one in the vicinity, could you elaborate on the privacy of the balcony? And, I also read in a previous Noordam posting that the sofa in the room is only a love seat size, is that correct? Any comments would be greatly appreciated, the suspense is killing me. bepsf Posted August 16, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2006 As you can see on the deckplan - you are Portside, adjacent to the stateroom on the angle, therefore yes, you'll have a clear view of what's happening on their verandah and they yours. You'll also be visible to folks on the angle of Deck 5 above. (Tho I often wonder what folks intend to do on their verandahs that prompt the privacy questions!) http://www.hollandamerica.com/fleet/deckPlan.do?ship=no&deck=m&year=next And yes, of you look at pix for that general category, you'll see that the seating is the size of a loveseat. http://www.hollandamerica.com/fleet/stateroomHome.do?ship=no Enjoy planning your cruise - you'll love Noordam! boopadoo Posted November 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 24, 2006 Can you help me find the thread for the 2/28 Noordham out of NYC? Thanks. Betty
Navy_Chief Posted November 24, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 24, 2006 All even numbered rooms are on the port side, odd numbers are to starboard.
