TP cabin selection

We've been on the Cook Islands itinerary twice, and it didn't matter a bit which side you were on.

Other than embarcatoin/disembarcation at Papeete, the only two port where you'll dock is Raiatea. You'll be at anchor in the bays at Bora Bora, Huahine, Moorea and Rarotonga. While at anchor, the ship turns around with the changing of the tides.

In Papeete or Raiatea you'll either see some island sights or the sea; neither is bad.

We did one B2B on Port side and the cruising past islands was on starboard, but when we docked we always faced the dock/town. So for the Marquesa's we thought we'll take starboard and get to sit on our balcony for the cruising by the islands and guess what, the port side had that view. But in Raiatea would you believe we were facing the town/dock side. You can never have a plan, I guess.

We had a starboard side minisuite. It was wonderful. If you have a choice, pick the starboard side; however, the truth is that it doesn't matter where you are on the TP, it will be he voyage of a lifeime...until you return for your next Tahitian cruise. I promise - you will love it!
