cusyl Posted July 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2004 You're in the right place for help, though. I'm sure we can get you sorted out. First of all, there are some very good instructions (with pictures) at the beginning of this thread. One of the first thing's it's got is the link to the code generator page (it's http://www.geocities.com/quietman01970/maker1.htm#code if you want to see the URL in plain text). If you work your way through those instructions, you should be able to sort yourself out. One thing which I recommend when you're editing your signature is to change your input interface to the Standard Interface. The WYSIWYG may look good normally, but it seems to have a habit of messing up countdown clock codes. You can always change it back when your signature's working, so it's only a temporary thing. This change is the last option on the Edit Options page. The other thing is, even if you're getting code or gobbledygook in your signature, save it anyway. That way we can help you troubleshoot it - but if we can't see a signature at all, we can only guess at what's going wrong. Maybe this will help
NinaCO Posted July 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2004 Here's what I did. Go into to your signature and cut the clock code. Save your changes (code is gone). Click on "User CP" and select "Edit Options" At the bottom, you'll see "Miscellaneous Options." Change your editor to "Standard Editor" (not WYSIWYG). Click on "Save Changes" Go into your signature again, and paste the code in. Save your signature changes. Now, if you want to, you can go into User CP and turn on WYSIWYG editing again. Hope this helps. It's what worked for me.
