Looking for 2nd cruise experience

Hubbie and I are looking for a 3-4 night cruise out of Baltimore, MD or somewhere close by. We recently experienced a loss (miscarriage at 9 weeks) and really want to de-stress, be with each other, and not think about a whole lot for a few days.

We cruised for the 1st time in December 2003 on Royal Caribbean's Voyager for 7 nights to the Western Caribbean. At that time, we needed to spend some time alone as we had a 6 month old daughter who was demanding a lot of our time and attention. Now she's 3 and demands even more from us! We had a blast on a that cruise and would love to have that on a second cruise as well.

We don't mind a cheap cabin...interior state room is fine. Again, just 3-4 nights, leaving from Baltimore to....wherever....sometime in Sept/Oct/Nov. Any thoughts? Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Angela

RCCL's Granduer of the Seas is sailing out of Baltimore on 5-night Bermuda Cruises and 9-night Western Caribbean cruises through the beginning of November.

If you're willing to go up to Philadelphia, RCCL's Empress of the Seas is doing 7-night Bermuda sailings through the end of October.

If you can make it up to NYC (including Cape Liberty, NJ), you have even more choices.

NCL has 2 ships that sail out of Manhattan on cruises (shortest is 6 days though). Carnival Legend sails out of Manhattan on 8-night Caribbean cruises. Carnival Victory is doing various length Canada/New England cruises out of Manhattan, including some 4 and 5 night cruises.

Crown Princess is doing 9-night cruises out of Red Hook in Brooklyn through October. In October Star Princess is doing 7-night Canada/New England cruises. Sea Princess is doing longer Canada/New England cruises.

Out of Cape Liberty, NJ RCCL has the Explorer of the Seas (Voyager class) doing 5-night Bermuda and 9-night Caribbean sailings and Celebrity has the Zenith to Bermuda, plus a few other ships stopping in during the fall.

Plus HAL and Crystal have some longer cruises out of New York in September and October.

If you're willing to go down to Norfolk, VA, Carnival Victory is doing a 6-night cruise out of there on October 8.
