wrp96 Posted August 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 17, 2006 The Sheraton Old San Juan is literally right across the street from the pier the Destiny sails from.
cruznqueen Posted August 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 17, 2006 The comfort Inn is very cheap and not too far from the pier.
texancruzer Posted August 17, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 17, 2006 Well we stayed 2 nights at El Convento and paid almost 400.00 PER NIGHT  but it was our 25th anniversary trip so well worth it.... Since the port is near Old San Juan the prices go up as it is a more expensive area.... hotels further out are cheaper. however.... check www.numero1guesthouse.com It is right on the beach. The prices are right and nicer than staying at a Comfort Inn. It was originally a large private beach home and now what they call a boutique inn. momofteens Posted August 20, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2006 The Gallerie inn is a quick walk from the pier. About $200 a night. It's a small hotel with courtyards, no T.V, make your own drinks and pay for them using the honor system. We stayed two nights and really liked it.
