jerhardt Posted August 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2006 A story is running in the local paper here in Vancouver indicating that several duty free shops have closed 'temporarily' due to restrictions imposed by Transport Canada (because of recent events in Britian). So, anyone wishing for duty free might be out of luck leaving YVR. I know that they are still offering duty free on the ships/airlines, but with duty free on the ship you have to pack it in your suitcase and hope it doesn't break. Just a heads up.
