I'm going to be sailing on Carnival Valor and I've heard great reviews for Scarlette's. I know it's like $30/person. Does that include tip? I don't want to get there and either undertip or overtip. Just curious :)

I honestly don't remember how much we tipped, but I believe we did. But the meal is phenomenal and worth the extra $$

What i have read from other posts about Scarlett's that the price p/p does not include tip. But everyone who has dined there said that its well worth the price and most people in my readings have tipped the staff.

 

We sail on the Valor next sunday, August 28th. I will most certainly let you know.

I'll be interested in finding out how you're trip went! I can't imagine how excited you are! That would be great if you could let me know about Scarlette's. If you can't tell, I'm a plan freak! :rolleyes:

No, that does not include tip, and believe me, after your meal you WILL be inclined to tip.

 

I think our dinner for two at Scarlett's came to about $80 with tip and one glass of wine. Well worth it!

I believe on our last cruise they added the auto grat (15%) on the Sail and Sign, but to only the $30 cover charge and not to the bottle of wine we ordered. We tipped again on top of what was included, b/c our service went above and beyond. The food is amazing!!
