*Blonde* Posted August 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Hi everyone, My partner and I are going on our first cruise for our honeymoon in January 2008. We got a brochure from P&O and are wondering what the difference is between the two different types of outside rooms on each deck. Eg: what is the difference between having a Baja deck (EE) outside cabin or having a Baja deck (E) outside cabin - there is a $40 difference? Only thing we can tell is that the EE is in the middle of the ship. Is this better than being in an E cabin and being at the front or the back? Hope this makes sense!!

It all depends on the ship, but I think you can rely on that as a general rule. Also some cabins are over or under public rooms and can suffer from noise. We haven't been on this ship, but putting myself in your shoes I wouldn't choose a Baja Deck forward cabin as they are under the Pacific Show Lounge. :( We always sail midships, so thats what I recommend.:) :) Bon voyage and happy honeymoon.;) Tim

Past it Posted August 19, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Try to go for the middle area,no diff in cabins.carpet is different on Empress (top).Less stairs to climp. There are several lifts though. The lowest passageways it seemed to me had a smell to them  probably not like that all the time :)
