Quebec-Montmorency FAlls

Recommended Posts

Going to Quebec this October and was wondering if anyone has gone on these tours. We will be on Princess and the 2 tours are The Beaupre Coast, which includes Sainte Anne CAnyon and then the falls, the other one is called Countryside of Quebec, and this one include a cable car ride to the top of the falls.

If you have done one of these tours, which one and did you like it? Would like any information.

Thank you,

Mary

Bonjour Mary,

i live in beautiful Québec City. Both are great tours out of town. Besides the falls, do you know where the countryside tour brings you to ? BTW, be sure to take at least half a day to explore the city by foot. You'll be docked in front of Place Royale. Very easy walk to historic lower town. And just a funiculaire ride away to Terrasse Dufferin, The Château Frontenac and the upper town. MUST see all before going out of town.

We will be on the 9/18 Princess cruise and have signed up for the Countryside of Quebec tour. We will be visiting Lac Beauport, Isle d"Orleans with a stop at a sugar house, and Montmorency Falls with tea at Manoir Montmorency. We arrive in the morning and hope to have most of the afternoon and evening of the first day to see at least some of the city. Then we will have time after the tour the next day to do some more exploring. We really look forward to our time in Quebec City.

Bonjour Judy...and Mary !

île d'Orléans and Lac-Beauport sounds great ! Specially if you're there 1st week of october, since it'll probably be peak foliage season. Good to hear you'll have plenty of time to walk around. Enjoy ! (Undoubtly) It'll be the highlight of your cruise

Hi

I too am interested in independent private tours ofthe 3 areas you mention (armani) do you have recommendations for an operator if we are doing just one day in Quebec during port time (vs. returning to Quebec after MOnteal) for an additional day.

The (2) canopy/ zipline mentioned by PCO earlier seems closer and more do-able , less driving. Now we have to decide whether to overnite in Montreal on disemabrking day or driving back to Quebec closer to the canopy zipline places. Any recommendations on overniting (B&B or nice reasonably priced hotel). Restaraunt on the premises unimportant - I am certain there are plenty of walkable places to eat informally in both Montreal & Quebec.

www.arbreduchesnay.com (one ofthe zipline companies mention by PCO)

Thanks:)
