Turtle Cove Kids club on Pacific Star

Hi there,

We are first time cruiseers booked for sailing in March 07 on the Pacific Star. This forum has been excellent in helping me to prepare. So much info that is being shared. I love it. I can see how this can be addictive. It is still months away and I am getting right into it!!

Anyway, we are travelling as a family with my husband, son (3 years) and friend of ours.

I was wondering if anyone could give me feedback on the children's activities and quality of child minding on board the Star. I want to feel comfortable leaving him there and that the staff are suitably qualified???

My son attends child care so he is used to being left with other children but was interested if anyone has any feedback on the service they received in this area. Love to hear any other advice about travelling with a 3 year old if you have any!

Thanks

Ally

As my child is older (9) can't specifically comment on Turtle Cove. Our girl went to the older one and loved it. There were lots of activities and they were quite well supervised. I am not sure about the actual qualifications of the staff but they seem to have a well prepared and structured daily activity list.

I can email some activity pages if you like.

Hey Ally, here is the programs from the Shark Shack (7-12 years) on the Sun. They are pretty similar between ships. I am afraid I don't have a copy of the younger kids programs. You should know that the little ones have kids club available all day on port days whereas the older one is only open in the afternoon.

I have lent my stuff to a friend, when I get it back I will scan and kids dinner menu.

Would you like me to email it too?

Jane
