Galveston ?

There is a fairly nice place to sit and wait until time to board if you arrive early. However, if you arrive at the port around 12:30 you should be able to check in and get right on the ship. When we went, check-in was fast and easy.

Tammy,

There is a departure lounge on the Rhapsody. Usually it is up in the Viking Crown Lounge for Platinum/Diamond members. And they will make an announcement and you get on the elevators and go down and depart the ship.

For embarkation. Yes, if you're platinum/diamond they have a roped area where you go and get your seapass and then there is a wait area, if they have started boarding yet. But if it's after Noon, they'll let you go straight on to the ship.

Did this answer your question?

Linda
