Chance's Mom Posted August 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2006 We are thinking of doing the western Carribean cruise thing in December and were wondering if the chances of having rough waters would be less there than in the eastern Carribean. 2 years ago we were on a cruise with Celebrity to Nassau, and it was COLD and ROUGH!!:( I realize that you can never predict the weather, but if we could avoid a good probability of rough waters, we will do it!:) Thanks
vmom Posted August 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 26, 2006 We did the southern Carribean a few years back the beginning of December including St. Thomas, St. Martin, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, and Barbados and the weather was great every where we stopped. The only thing I noticed was that the cruise crowd seemed just a bit older which I attibuted to less families due to the holidays.
DiveCruiser Posted September 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2006 Eastern Cruises are always rougher. Bob
