Alaskan cruise tax

Hello,

 

I read this morning that as of late last night (8/22/06) with 70 percent of the precincts reporting, the $50 tax per person on Alaskan cruises was passing 53% to 47%. I'm not sure if it will end up passing or not with the vote being that close, but will this new cost be tacked on to existing reservations? Would it make a difference if you had only paid your deposit for 2007 at this point or had paid your cruise in full? Just curious - thanks for any input.;)
