loveturtles Posted August 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2006 I'm confused about the Everglades tour. There is one in Miami and one in FLL. We will be in both cities. Not sure which one to do. Has anyone done either of these?
Bequia Posted August 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2006 They're both fine.
Lou33 Posted August 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2006 Bequia, If we have a rental car, is it best to just drive there? Can you recommend a good place for airboat tours? Lou

We will be staying at the Amerisuites in Fort Lauderdale for two nights. By the way, isn't there a rental car office on 17th street within walking distance of Amerisuites? Bequia Posted August 24, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2006 The Budget car rental office is within walking distance of Amerisuites. QUAY SHOPPING PLAZA 1515 SE 17TH STREET CAUSEWAY FT.LAUDERDALE, FL 33316 US 954-761-7231 Sun 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Mon - Fri 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Sat 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM There's two Everglades airboat tour operators 30 minutes west on I-595 that would be conveniant for you. Sawgrass Recreation Park http://www.evergladestours.com/ and Everglades Holiday Park http://www.evergladesholidaypark.com/ . They're both easy to get to and both offer a decent tour. ;)
