Everglades tour

I'm confused about the Everglades tour. There is one in Miami and one in FLL. We will be in both cities. Not sure which one to do. Has anyone done either of these?

If we have a rental car, is it best to just drive there? Can you recommend a good place for airboat tours?

We will be staying at the Amerisuites in Fort Lauderdale for two nights.

 

By the way, isn't there a rental car office on 17th street within walking distance of Amerisuites?

There's two Everglades airboat tour operators 30 minutes west on I-595 that would be conveniant for you. Sawgrass Recreation Park http://www.evergladestours.com/ and Everglades Holiday Park http://www.evergladesholidaypark.com/ . They're both easy to get to and both offer a decent tour. ;)
