injunjoe Posted August 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Hi...Stopping in Nassau in a few weeks and would love to explore one of the quieter, secluded outer islands. Any suggestions? Are there private tours that go to any of these spots? Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Joe
scubagirrl Posted August 24, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2006 Hi...Stopping in Nassau in a few weeks and would love to explore one of the quieter, secluded outer islands. Any suggestions? Most of the islands nearby are over commercialized and don't resemble paradise at all. But you can try the Sea Island adventure tour to Rose Island. (closest thing to paradise within an hours boatride) or the Island World or Powerboat Adventure to the Exumas if you have a full day at port. There's day trips to harbour Island via the Bo Hengy.. but you probably don't have time to do this type of trip.
