climbsrocks Posted August 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Does anyone have a recent Cruise Compass for Mariner's 7 day western Caribbean itinerary? I'd like to know what to expect for times the ice rink is open. Do they provide hockey pucks or do we have to bring our own? ;) Thanks, Tim B. Saracruise Posted August 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Tim, If you look at www.cruisedailies.com you can find past compasses. The skating rink is usually open for an hour in the moring and one in the afternoon. It is strictly skating no hockey pucks or sticks.
Gator0178 Posted August 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2006 The DW and I were on the Mariner in April 2006, and we saw multiple times during the at sea days to go ice skating. I suggest going anytime after the first time of the day. We went right when it opened and it was packed! We left and came back later at another open time and had the entire rink to ourselves. As a previous post said, no pucks or sticks for hockey allowed.
climbsrocks Posted August 25, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Saracruise and Gator0178, Thanks for the tips...I was only kidding about the hockey by the way :) I'll check out the cruise compasses posted on the other website; that will be really helpful.
