kataiga Posted August 26, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted August 26, 2006 Thank you ,Shoreguy !! We will sail the transatlantic from Barcelona in october, in a mini,,forward port side,, can we expect a lot of movement so far forward ?? 11504?
shoreguy Posted August 26, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2006 If I have one complaint about the Star-Jewel class ships it is too little movement. I missed being rocked to sleep like the older ships did. :) I was aft on the Jewel northern crossing last Sept. Very little motion anywhere except on the worst day. It seems to me those ships are rock stable until you get over 15 ft. seas. I could feel a little more on those days in the Stardust Theater. That may have been because of the optical effect of the stage curtains swaying. I have taken the Dawn out of NYC in the winter in forward cabins twice with no issues. I was in the second most forward mini on one trip and even on a day like this felt no motion.
