Food & Shopping??

Hi Everyone!

 

We will be docking in St. Thomas in about 10 days and we opted to take an excursion to St. John. We will be spending part of the day at Trunk Bay. Are there any restaurants or places to shop around there??

The shopping area on St John is in Cruz Bay where the ferry from Red Hook docks. It is mainly boutique shopping. Everything for sale in St John is a bit more expensive than on St Thomas as it comes over by ferry. Generally speaking the shops at the cruise ship dock area in St Thomas offer the best shopping most cruise passengers are looking for. If you can be a bit more specific on items maybe I can help?

There is a concession (food/drinks) at Trunk Bay. No other restaurants or shopping right around there. You'd need to head back to Cruz Bay (where the ferry dock is located) for restaurants and shops. Cruz Bay is about a 12-15 minute drive from Trunk Bay.
